Saija & Nate were married at the Prado in Balboa Park with a wedding inspired by the artwork of Edward Gorey. Their wedding incorporated many of the dark yet whimsical inspirations from the artist into their florals, decor, and stationery. Melissa & Kyle had a beautiful winter wedding at Fort Worth’s University Christian Church and reception at the Modern Art Museum. They had their first look in the church’s courtyard which had the only tree in Fort Worth that still seemed to be clinging to its red fall leaves–which was just perfect for pictures! Their warm, wintery reception incorporated their silver, white, and purple wedding colors with hydrangeas, gardenias, roses and ranunculus. I also love the parting shot of the couple in their getaway car before they jetted off to their honeymoon. Nicole & Ryan had their wedding ceremony and reception at The Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla. They had an uncharacteristically rainy day for Southern California, but luckily the weather cleared and the sun came out just enough that we were able to take some of the pictures outside. They had an intimate wedding and incorporated a lot of personal elements into their details. They even included wine from Ryan’s family vineyard into the ceremony. Congrats Nicole & Ryan!!! Natalie and Matt were married at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego, and had a beach ceremony overlooking San Diego Bay. Their reception in the Mission Ballroom incorporated their lots of personal touches; from their personalized place card numbers to their favors, their thoughtful touches were everywhere.
