Kaylee & Stephen had a gorgeous, vintage inspired wedding at the University of San Diego’s Immaculata Cathedral and romantic reception at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. I loved how the couple incorporated the mariachi band into the cocktail hour and displayed her mothers and grandmothers photos and wedding dresses. Plus, I always love weddings with the Navy sword arch. Congrats Kaylee & Stephen! Saija & Nate ~ The Prado at Balboa Park

Saija & Nate were married at the Prado in Balboa Park with a wedding inspired by the artwork of Edward Gorey. Their wedding incorporated many of the dark yet whimsical inspirations from the artist into their florals, decor, and stationery. Coordination by Ann Strobel with Ann’s Plans, florals by Rae Florae, cake by Flour Power, stationery created by the bride. Congratulations Saija & Nate!

Melissa & Kyle ~ The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

Melissa & Kyle had a beautiful winter wedding at Fort Worth’s University Christian Church and reception at the Modern Art Museum. They had their first look in the church’s courtyard which had the only tree in Fort Worth that still seemed to be clinging to its red fall leaves–which was just perfect for pictures! Their warm, wintery reception incorporated their silver, white, and purple wedding colors with hydrangeas, gardenias, roses and ranunculus. I also love the parting shot of the couple in their getaway car before they jetted off to their honeymoon. Coordination by The Current Event, ceremony music by the Texas Boys Choir, cake by Sandy Chang for Sandy’s Unique Imprint, makeup by Adina Wright, florals by The Garden Gate, reception music by the Gilda Medina Band and Sauce the Band, bridal gown by Kenneth Pool.

Nicole & Ryan ~ La Jolla, California

Nicole & Ryan had their wedding ceremony and reception at The Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla. They had an uncharacteristically rainy day for Southern California, but luckily the weather cleared and the sun came out just enough that we were able to take some of the pictures outside. They had an intimate wedding and incorporated a lot of personal elements into their details. They even included wine from Ryan’s family vineyard into the ceremony. Congrats Nicole & Ryan!!!
