Kristen Peelle Photography » Personal http://www.peellephotography.com/blog San Diego Wedding Photographer Wed, 25 Aug 2010 05:26:31 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 Jillian and Greg ~ Newport Beach Wedding http://www.peellephotography.com/blog/jillian-and-greg/ http://www.peellephotography.com/blog/jillian-and-greg/#comments Tue, 23 Feb 2010 07:22:18 +0000 kristen http://www.peellephotography.com/blog/?p=132 Jill and Greg had a beautiful wedding in Newport Beach at Holy Family Cathedral in Orange County, CA and had their reception at the Harborside Pavilion in Newport Beach, CA.  Greg and my husband are first cousins, so I had a little bit of an inside scoop in their engagement and in their wedding planning.  When they announced their wedding date would be very close to my due date with baby Peelle #2, we decided to have my primary associate, Tashena be the lead shooter for their wedding.  I was sad that I wasn’t able to attend, but I had a pretty notable special event to tend to myself.  Even though I was not there to be a part of Jill and Greg’s big day, Tashena and Colin did a beautiful job capturing so many fun elements and details of their wedding.   I am a little jealous that I wasn’t there because it has been a long time since I have had a bride bold enough to brave the beach in her wedding gown (Hint, hint! In order to help me be a better blogger, I have invested in a totally new, custom ProPhoto blog from the folks at NetRivet.com.  I also downloaded the WordPress application for my iPhone, so this year I can hopefully stay on top of things as I travel for the many travel/destination weddings we have in 2010.
